On Thursday, March 7, join The Friends of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute at the 15th Annual Chefs Cooking For Hope. Guests will enjoy award winning wine and gourmet dishes from more than 50 of Boston’s best chefs and wineries. Tickets are $100 and all proceeds benefit adult and pediatric cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
This year Chef Frank McClelland of L’Espalier, Sel de la Terre, and Au Soleil Catering will serve as honorary chef. As Chef-Owner of Boston’s four-star restaurant, L’Espalier, McClelland takes pride in growing his own fresh herbs, rare fruits and vegetables at his farm in Essex, Massachusetts. He also works individually with area specialty and organic farmers to meticulously select the finest seafood, meats and game. Chef McClelland will be joined by more than 50 other restaurants, caterers, and wineries including Island Creek Oyster Bar, Henrietta’s Table, and Trade. Last year, hundreds of people sampled the cuisine, socialized with friends, and mingled with other food lovers.
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is among the leading cancer research and care centers in the United States and the top ranked cancer center in New England, according to U.S. News & World Report. The Friends of Dana-Farber is an all-volunteer organization of more than 1,200 members.
