Masquerades And Martinis Gala To Benefit Laurel House

Each year, those dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence gather to raise money to benefit Laurel House and applaud the efforts of those engaged in the prevention of domestic violence. On Saturday, April 20, the Masquerades and Martinis Gala to benefit Laurel House will take place at Green Valley Country Club. Guests who attend the event will enjoy an evening of martinis, dinner, dancing, silent and live auctions and more. The funds raised from the night’s event will go directly to Laurel House to help those who are victims of domestic violence in the local area and promote education and awareness through various programs.

Attendees at the Masquerades and Martinis Gala will don their most exquisite cocktail attire and sip martinis and other tantalizing cocktails while enjoying a premier sit down dinner. Guests will take part in a night of dancing, live auctions, silent auctions and more. In addition to indulging in excellent cuisine and mingling with others close to this cause, those who attend the Masquerades and Martinis Gala will have an opportunity to applaud the efforts of community members who have gone above and beyond in the journey to end domestic violence. This year’s honorees include John Middleton Co. ACECF, Anna Bates, Transitional Housing Manager, Dolores Hudson and Patricia Younce, Esq., Board Member.

Laurel House is a local organization which operates to end domestic violence in every life, home and community. This organization is one which not only provides a safe place for women and children facing domestic violence to go but also raises awareness about domestic violence through education and related programs. Laurel House strives to not only address specific instances of domestic violence and help those who face these violent acts but to bring attention to the overall gravity of the matter and promote social change as well. Through the Masquerades and Martinis Gala and other fundraising programs and events, Laurel House can raise money to fund their organization and ensure that the assistance to victims of domestic violence and programs associated with domestic violence continue to foster.
