Amanda Ivarra is a graduate of Texas A&M University. After graduating with a degree in Health, she moved to Austin and started working for a national non-profit organization. She spent 5 years coordinating community events and programs. After leaving the organization, she started to focus on her creative pursuits. Currently, she is working on developing her own jewelry line. Writing has always been a hobby for Amanda. For most of her life, she’s kept journals. It wasn’t until recently that she decided to take her writing public and began blogging and guest blogging. The one thing this girl can’t live without is music. Not really one to sing or play an instrument, she just loves music. Perhaps, it’s the songwriting that she admires so much or a good beat that she can dance to. Whether she’s attending a concert with friends, hanging out with the guys watching sports, volunteering in the community, hiking or visiting the newest places in town, Amanda lives to enjoy life. But, nothing brings more joy to her than being able to make someone smile or laugh!

Club Red’s Totes For Hope Kickoff Party To Benefit American Red Cross At Blackfinn Ameripub

Join Club Red for Totes for Hope, an initiative to collect travel size toiletries for homeless veterans in Central Texas.  In its efforts to assist the American Red Cross, the organization will be distributing collection boxes at the kickoff party.  Participants are asked to take these boxes with them to help spread awareness and collect these much-needed items from friends, family, co-workers and neighbors.  Small items like toiletries go a long way in helping American servicemen and women get back on their feet.

Round Rock Express Fan Fest At Dell Diamond

Opening day is more than a month away for the Round Rock Express, but fans are invited to come out to the Dell Diamond on Saturday, March 2nd for some family-friendly entertainment.  Fans will have the opportunity to see the many stadium upgrades, take a few practice swings, test the speed of their pitches, embark on clubhouse tours and scavenger hunts, scale the rock climbing wall, sample food and wines and much more!

Texas Heritage Songwriters’ Association Hall Of Fame Awards Show At ACL Live At The Moody Theater

Music icons Ronnie Dunn, Sonny Curtis and Roger Miller will be honored and celebrated at this year’s Texas Heritage Songwriters Association Hall of Fame Awards Show.  It’s set to be a star-studded show as the 2013 inductees will be recognized by fellow singers and songwriters for their songwriting talents, those that embody and celebrate the spirit of Texas.  Country artists Toby Keith, Larry Gatlin and Jack Ingram will join 2013 Hall of Fame Honorees Dunn and Curtis as musical performers for the evening.  A limited number of seats are available to the public.
