Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2013 New York Fashion Week Runway Show finished off the fashionable week in a big way. The show was glamorous and funky, both with the clothing and the makeup. Francois Nars the Founder and Creative Director of NARS Cosmetics, created the look for Marc Jacobs. “The eye is smokey, but round and defined, and we created really matte, perfect skin. It’s Joan Jett meets Marianne Faithfull meets punk rock.”

The heavy smokey eye and strong brow with a nude lip, will be recreated this fall as a trend. I also noticed from the show that the lashes were full of volume, dark and really framed the eye with this look. Those who are lucky in the lash department will be able to get with a great mascara. However, for others of us, you may need some false lashes to help.
