Calling all of the Pacific Northwest’s top agents and spies! You have a new mission. Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington needs your help. Should you chose to accept the mission, Saturday, March 9, you and other spies will be able to fulfill wishes, bring hope, strength and joy to the special children Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington children serve.

Mission: Incredible, its 2013 Wish Night Gala and Auction, will begin at 5 p.m. and end at 11 p.m. in The Westin Seattle’s Grand Ballroom. The foundation hopes to have at least 1,000 guests who will help meet the goal to raise at least $1.1 million to grant future wishes of children who have life-threatening medical conditions.

One child named Colby, who wishes to be a secret agent, inspired the night’s event. Guests will be able to learn about his story as well as from John Crowley, a father of two Make-A-Wish recipients. The movie Extraordinary Measures, which starred Brendan Frazier and Harrison Ford, was based on his family’s story. The movie shows how John and Aileen Crowley try to find a researcher who might have a cure for their children’s rare genetic disorder.
