Rebekkah Adams grew up in Ithaca, New York with one younger brother, two artistic parents and two lovable dogs. Starting from early childhood, she has taken an interest in music, traveling and writing. She attended college at The University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a degree in Radio-Television-Film and a degree in English. She has since worked in film, advertising, PR and as a freelance writer and editor. When not writing articles, she spends her time singing, shopping and working on fiction pieces. Celtic Nights Comes To The Long Center In Austin

the Long Center on February 24 and showcase this new song and dance piece to Austinites. It brings together six of Ireland’s best vocal talents with six of Ireland’s best step dancers to create a unique look at Celtic music. Mixing traditional and contemporary, the piece guides the audience along a journey that presents a fresh look at Ireland and its people. This new show from the creators of Gaelforce Dance, tells a story that weaves history and myth together, all originating from Celtic culture. Each individual piece is about eight minutes and the songs and stories span a wide range of emotion, bringing the audience along with every note and step. The performance includes many traditional pieces that audiences will have heard (even if only on St. Patrick’s day) and are recognizable as the foundation of many modern American musical styles. Join some of Ireland’s great performers for a brand new show that will rouse the spirit of all attendees.
