It’s the night before the big day and friends and family are all gathering for the rehearsal dinner to celebrate. Many of these people have traveled far distances and haven’t seen the bride and groom in quite some time. As the bride, the outfit worn to the rehearsal dinner needs to be a special one. To do this there are some crucial elements to consider. Is white an option? Some brides couldn’t imagine wearing any other color on the night before their wedding so as to stand out, yet others want to save the sacred color for the next day. This decision is completely up to the bride and relies on her personal preference.

Instead of wearing white, one could wear the primary wedding color or colors in an effort to follow along with the theme and give friends and family a sneak peek of your wedding day style. Another idea is to ask the bridesmaids to wear the primary wedding color, while the bride sports the secondary wedding color. This would be a great way to still keep the bride the main focus without wearing white.

Another idea is to wear a classic little black or navy dress to the rehearsal dinner and accessorize in white accents such as a large pearl necklace, white heels and a sparkling white bracelet. This move is classy and elegant.

Hair is another important component to consider when choosing the rehearsal dinner outfit. A classic updo hairstyle will bring sophistication to any outfit, and it never hurts to get pampered with a trip to the salon the day before the wedding.
Regardless of the outfit, cherish the special memories with the loved ones around you and enjoy the night!
