Joel loves fashion and has worked with Maggy Francois to create some fantastic fashion shows in Washington DC such as Crsytal City's Crystal Couture.

The DC area’s hottest fashion show and high-end bargain trunk sale, Crystal Couture kicked off Tuesday night with more than 40 of the DC Area’s most stylish boutiques and designers.

Presented by the Crystal City Business Improvement District, from February 5 – 9, 2013, Crystal Couture delivers 360 degrees of style in the 251 18th Street office building. The fashion show featured everything from gowns to swimwear with music from DJ Neekola, a cash bar, and makeovers. The fashion show was produced by Maggy Francois and her stellar team.

This is the perfect place for shoppers who like to shop on a budget. You can browse discounted styles on the rack, sip some wine, and enjoy the great music. This is surely a not-to-miss event.

My Bougie Baby

UPDATE (February 13th): Crystal Couture 2013 ended with a bang last Saturday night! The show featured My Bougie Baby, a kids fashion line that strives to create “fashionable but appropriate outfits” for little girls. Twenty two beautiful little girls walked the runway by wearing beautiful and appropriate pieces. Not only is this a age appropriate line but Wendy pittman, founder & creative director of the brand is determined to do pursues philanthropic endeavors to improve the lives of at-risk children. She works on the board of courage for kids, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to create, find, and support programs for at-risk urban youth that directly improve the health and well-being of those children in the mid-atlantic region through financial support and volunteer commitment.
