Cuban restaurants and gastro-pubs are a staple in the Miami culinary scene – but we bet you’ve never seen a Cuban gastro-pub before, that was until Bread + Butter came along. The much anticipated restaurant by Alberto Cabrera brings its unique twist on the popular Cuban cuisine to Coral Gables. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner the restaurant serves up dishes like the Frita China an oriental twist on the classic Cuban frita with napa cabbage, kimchee, cilantro, onion, papitas juliana and sriracha ketchup; Crudo De Pescado with wahoo, watermelon, avocado, corn nuts, coriander and sour orange; and Pan Con Tomate served on warm Cuban bread with tomato, garlic, spanish olive oil, and sea salt; all in a homey, yet industrial, setting.
