On Saturday, February 9, 2013, you and your closest crazy friends can help benefit the Special Olympics Washington by taking a quick dip in Lake Union. Plunger participants who raise $75 or more will receive a t-shirt, earn prizes and take a dip into the frosty waters of South Lake Union!
Plungers who raise a minimum of $2,500 will become a part of the Super Plunger’s team, taking a dip in South Lake Union every thirty minutes from dawn until dusk, all while receiving VIP treatment and earning some fabulous prizes! You can also raise money virtually without being labeled a Plunger or a Chicken!
Participants will receive a complimentary cup of Ivar’s delicious clam chowder. Non-participants can purchase chowder for $2, with all proceeds benefiting the Special Olympics Washington.
