Grab your best puppy pal and get ready for a night of fun, entertainment and opportunities to associate with other pet lovers, all for a great cause. The 6th Puppy Love Valentines Party to benefit the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PSPCA) will be in full swing on Tuesday, February 12 at the 23rd Street Armory. Hosted by Smokin’ Betty’s and Devil’s Alley, this is an excellent opportunity for dog owners to have a night out on the town and bring along their best furry pal.

Guests who attend the 6th Puppy Love Valentines Party will spend the evening indulging in a wide array of appetizers offered by Smokin’ Betty’s and Devil’s Alley and sweet treats from Ms. Goody Cupcake, enjoying delicious cocktails, taking part in a silent auction and listening to some fabulous live music by the Jon Hagen Band. Attendees will love the doggie swag bags and those who are looking for a new pet to add to the home can take a peek at the pets currently available for adoption. Emmy Award winner and media personality Maria Papadakis will be the MC for the evening as well as the hostess of the doggie red carpet. Best of all is the fact that all of the funds raised from the night’s event will go directly to benefit the PSPCA.
The PSPCA, located in Philadelphia, is the second humane organization to have been founded in the United States. Not only does the PSPCA run an animal shelter at its central location but it is also home to a humane law enforcement department and a low-cost vet clinic which provides animal medical services to those in the Philadelphia area. Behavior and training classes are also available through the PSPCA. With the funds generated from animal lovers and the community as a whole, the PSPCA can continue doing its excellent work for the good of animals throughout Philadelphia and beyond.
