As a self-proclaimed girly-girl, this season’s trend of ruffles has me smiling from ear to ear. Paris Fashion Week showcased spring designs from Gucci, Balenciaga and Chloé, whose collections were full of frill.

And at Sunday’s SAG Awards, there was no shortage of ruffles on the red carpet as both Rose Byrne and E! Entertainment host Giuliana Rancic showed off the feminine detail in their gowns.

A girly girl myself, I’m quite enthused that this feminine detail will be making its way onto garments this spring.
