The second year of Dine Out for the Cure in Austin promises to be even better than last year. This year, 15 restaurants are taking part in this fantastic day to benefit the Austin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Trifecta on 3rd will be the presenting restaurant and is therefore donating 40% of their sales (excluding alcohol) to the cause until 
midnight on February 7th, the night of the event. The other restaurants giving 15% or more include: 360 Uno Trattoria & Wine Bar, Culver’s, Noodles & Company, Bamboo Bistro, Evangeline Café, Red’s Porch, Clay Pit, Fabi + Rosi, NoRTH, Corner Bakery Café, Ka-Prow, Trento and Masala Wok.
The event is hosted by the Austin group of Young Professionals for the Cure. It began last year when Komen Austin proposed the idea to YPC and they took it on with delight. The YPC are a volunteer group that focus on bringing Komen fundraisers to the 21-40 demographic. In 2012, the Austin community helped them raise more than $6000, and hopefully 2013 will be an even bigger success.
