Irish writer and poet, Oscar Wilde once said, “In matters of importance, style is everything.” Krisstina Wise, CEO of Goodlife Team and founder of Modern Home Tour Austin, agrees. Each year, Modern Home Tour Austin features several stunning homes currently on the Austin market and designed from some of Austin’s local ingenious Modern Architects.
I attended the tour last year and I enjoyed viewing each unique home. The tour not only incorporates intriguing homes, but also integrates cutting edge building supplies, new inventions and other energy-saving items for the modern homes of today, proving that modern homes are not just for looks, but also truly are sustainable.
After the tour, ticket holders will enjoy an after party, sponsored by Goodlife Team and Launch 787, to be held at iPic Theater at The Domain.

The iPic Theater features multiple seating options including Premium Plus seating with reclining chairs, pillows, blankets, an in-theater dining service, and of course super wide screens for optimum viewing. iPic’s new concept, “Tanzy Express,” offers movie-goers innovative cocktails prepared by “mixologists” and gourmet food items.
The after party will also include an architect panel where guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the participating architects and ask specific questions. This venue is the perfect location for the after party and because as Hamid Hashemi, President and CEO of iPic Entertainment says, “Modern architecture and design has always been a vital aspect of our locations. As one of the presenting sponsors, we proudly support modern design and sustainability in the Austin community.”
