Last year approximately 37,390 people died of pancreatic cancer in the United States, and it has been predicted that the numbers will continue to rise. The Lustgarten Foundation, a non-profit organization that works toward finding a cure, increasing awareness, and improving treatments for pancreatic cancer, has demonstrated determination to succeed in this battle since its inception in 1999. This year, the Lustgarten Foundation has decided to increase its research budged by 25 million dollars so that they can hold more clinical trials in early detection, and develop more effective therapies and immunotherapies. Now, you can lend them a hand in this endeavor.

On January 31st, the Lustgarten Foundation will be hosting an event known as Party in the Park, set in the beautiful winter wonderland that is Bryant Park. You can enjoy a night of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, entertainment, raffle prizes and auction items while admiring the beautiful ice rink and the quaint stores as well the suave and comfortable setting of Bryant Park’s own bar, restaurant and lounge, Celsius.

If you can’t make it to the party and still want to contribute to the cause, don’t worry. You can purchase an advertisement in Lustgarten Foundation’s journal, and you can use your space to promote a business or pay tribute to a loved one, while contributing to a significant cause and making a substantial difference to the lives of others.
