The founder of Atlanta’s William David Salon, Bill Murphy, recently launched RECITALS, his new hair care product line, and I was lucky enough to receive a full RECITALS hair treatment at his salon. While waiting to receive a treatment, I had a chance to sit down and chat with Bill Murphy about his new product and what makes RECITALS such a unique product line for hair care. After learning more about the product, I was very excited to experience RECITALS first hand. The RECITALS hair treatment began with Symphony Volumizing Shampoo and Rhapsody Reparative Argan Moisturizing Conditioner, which are excellent for all hair types, but especially good for fine hair. Just as Murphy promised, the aromatic oils were not too overpowering, but pleasant, relaxing, and fresh. Next my hair was treated with the Maestro Mud Masque, which stayed on for about 20 minutes. The masque is meant to hydrate and stimulate the scalp by nourishing hair at the roots. Once the masque was rinsed out, my hair was dried, and the finishing product used was a little spritz of Ovation Volumizing Spray Oil. This product is a very light spray oil that goes on lightly, and smooths hair while also giving it fullness and body. My hair was softer and silkier than it had been in years, and I could genuinely tell a difference in my the texture and fullness of my hair long after I received the hair treatment.
