Imagine a night filled with creativity, fun, wine and hors d’oeuvres. Add in the opportunity to help an excellent local charity and you have the Paint It Forward Event at The Uncorked Artist on Thursday, January 17, 2013 to benefit HealthLink Medical Center. HealthLink Medical Center is a local free medical clinic which serves the needs of low income, working individuals in Bucks County and Montgomery County who are uninsured. This wonderful event features an evening of painting, socializing and, of course, some delicious wine as well.
HealthLink Medical Center, located in Southampton, was created in 2001 due to the vision of local philanthropist Eugene Jackson. His goal was to provide a medical and dental facility which would cater to the needs of those working individuals in Bucks and Montgomery counties who earned too much to qualify for Medicaid but were unable to afford private health insurance policies. HealthLink Medical Center enables eligible individuals in the area to receive the medical and dental care that they need and not have to worry about the high costs associated with such medical treatments in today’s society.
The Paint It Forward Event at The Uncorked Artist will provide for a night of artistic creativity and good times with others who want to help a worthy local cause and have fun while doing so. Those who attend the evening’s event will create an exclusive “Paris At Night” painting while sipping wine and enjoying hors d’oeuvres throughout the night. Best of all, no experience is needed to create a lovely Paris-theme painting. You can also bring the painting home with you at the end of the night, reminding you of the reason behind such a painting and your contribution to the HealthLink Medical Center. A portion of the proceeds from the night’s event will go directly to the HealthLink Medical Center to help further the goals of the facility and allow its medical professionals to carry on providing wonderful services to those in our local area.
