Whether we’re talking about life, finding love, raising children, preparing for an exam or learning how to make souffle, it’s all about the journey. Some days can be difficult but you can agree: the journey is worth it.
On February 28th, the Junior League of Denver is celebrating the big and small journeys in our lives in their inaugural event: The Journey: Honoring Our Past, Looking to Our Future. This very special event will feature keynote speaker Leigh Anne Tuohy, a mother, leader and role model who has written several books and was also made famous by the movie The Blind Side for her generous heart in taking in a homeless boy.
Hosting the event is Chris Parente, entertainment reporter and co-anchor of The Everyday Show on Fox 31.
At this event, you can have a choice of purchasing individual tickets, patron tickets or hostess table tickets, which sits ten people so you can invite your family and dear friends to join.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the literacy efforts of the Junior League of Denver by providing direct service or tools to communities to those who are in need of such resources. One of their highly successful programs known Read2Kids has helped children understand the importance of reading through parental and caregiver involvement.
