Disney’s The Lion King Roars Into Austin’s Bass Concert Hall

There’s something about the magic of Disney that turns even the most serious person back into kid. Seeing that magic come to life on the stage takes it to a whole new level, and from January 16th – February 10th, Austinites will be able to see the magic of “The Lion King” come to life at the Bass Concert Hall.

In the Disney classic, the story epitomizes the “Circle of Life.” It tells the tale of Simba, the future king of Pride Rock, and the twist and turns his life takes, while he prepares to become king.  The same colorful characters we loved from the movie are along for the ride, providing the right amount of comic relief for this moving story.

While fans of the movie and story get ready for the play adaptation, they should “be prepared.” There is something about watching this tale live that allows it to touch the heart even more. From watching the animals come to life on stage to hearing Sir Elton John and Tim Rice’s award-winning score, the musical will be a treat for the eyes, ears and hearts.

Along with the performances, there will be a variety of Campus and Community Events, allowing the audiences to get a deeper understanding of the musical. For more information about these events, and to make your reservation please call 512-471-6376.
