Seattle is a city well-known for producing musical talent. Andrew Joslyn is no exception. Hailing from Bainbridge Island, Andrew’s family is no stranger to the spotlight. His mother, a model, his brother, Chris Kattan of “Saturday Night Live“ and “A Night at the Roxbury” fame; Andrew took his talents to the stage of melodies and music.
Andrew began playing the violin at the tender age of five. Throughout his young life, he studied classical music and eventually dove into the eclectic stream of rock, folk, world to hip-hop, film and electronic music. Andrew now channels his creative energy into the Seattle Rock Orchestra as a seasoned performer, composer and arranger. His music can be heard on Macklemore’s “The Heist” and on a joint album with Kris Orlowski called “Pieces We Are.” “Pieces We Are” reached number 13 on the Singer-Songwriter Chart on iTunes.
On Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Good Shepherd Center, you too can experience Andrew’s infectious sounds as he debuts a new composition with the Seattle Rock Orchestra. Bring the entire family, relax and enjoy beautiful rock-inspired musicality as you have never heard before.
Seattle Rock Orchestra is an Associated Program of Shunpike, a 501(c)(3) non-profit art service organization. Shunpike’s mission is to strengthen the Seattle arts community by partnering with small and mid-size arts groups to develop the business tools they need to succeed.
