For the past 29 years, the Miami Art Museum’s MAM Ball has been the most coveted and exclusive ticket in town, hosting the art world’s elite for their annual fundraiser and gala.  With tickets starting at $1,000, the event is out of the price range for many, but fear not, you can still Crash the Ball at its official after party and mingle with Miami’s most fashionable and art savvy crowd at a wallet friendly price.

Capping off Miami Art Week on Saturday, December 8, 2012, the second installment of Crash the Ball will be held in the outdoor plaza of the Miami-Dade Cultural Center from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m.  Guests will be able to dance into the wee hours of the night to tunes by Brooklyn, NY-based DJ duo Tanlines, while enjoying signature desserts created by James Beard-nominated pastry chef Hedy Goldsmith and cocktails by Double Cross Vodka, Perrier® Sparkling Natural Mineral Water, and Southern Wine and Spirits. Downstairs, the gallery will be transformed into an environment created by New Work Miami 2013 artist Emmett Moore, known for his innovative experimentation between the fields of art and design.

WHEN: Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 10 p.m. – 2 a.m.
