Everyone loves a little Tom Petty, right? The Sundogs will wow audiences with their renditions of Petty classics at the 2nd Annual Tom Petty Show on Friday, December 7th at Smith’s Olde Bar. Goodbye June from Nashville will open, and special guests will include songstress Mimi Holland performing Stevie Nicks tunes, Greg Lee from Yacht Rock Revue and Cameron Williams from Tishamingo. Be sure to purchase your tickets in advance, as last year the event sold out.
The Sundogs are an impressive six piece rock n roll band. Led by brothers Lee and Will Haraway, The Sundogs have cranked out two albums and performed countless shows with their melodic, high-energy sound. The Sundogs, whose members include accomplished blues guitarist and songwriter Jon Harris and renowned gunslinger Benji Shanks, have shared stages with Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, Jimmy Herring, Widespread Panic, The Wailers, Burning Spear, Gatemouth Brown, Chuck Leavell, Bill Kreuztman, Blackberry Smoke, Lucero, Oliver Wood and Ike Stubblefield.
Smith’s Olde Bar is an amazing bar and concert venue that is interested in giving back to the community. During the month of December, the bar asks everyone to bring two cans of food to each show to benefit the Atlanta Food Bank. Discounted admission is given to guests who donate food!
