All of the funding for The Seany Foundation benefits childhood cancer awareness and research. It was named after the founder, Sean Robins, who passed away in 2006 after a hard fought seven-year battle with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer. Sean was an eternal optimist whose attitude was summed up in a quote he would often recite, “When nothing is certain, everything is possible.”

He also brought light to the fact that kids with cancer who spend a great majority of their time in the hospital had little to no “normal” activities. The Seany Room was created at Rady Children’s Hospital as a way to bring a sense of normalcy to kids’ lives. With TVs, video games and a bright atmosphere, this was just another way that this incredible individual changed his reality.

Congratulations to the Seany Foundation and the Robins family for your hard-earned success!
