Fashion brand iiJin from Hong Kong had their first ever U.S. fashion show to premiere their Spring/Summer 2013 “California Soul” collection at Style Fashion Week held at Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles. The inspiration for luxury fashion brand iiJin’s Spring/Summer 2013 “California Soul” collection comes from the beautiful and vibrant colors found in nature all over sunny California and the laid back cool style of Cali’s natives. Creative director June Lee loves to visit Los Angeles, where any given sidewalk might as well be a runway for the effortlessly chic fashionistas spotted around town.

The fashion show guests included “American Idol” alums and newly engaged couple Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young, Season 10 “American Idol” finalist Pia Toscano, actors Eric Etabari and Travis Aaron Wade and Sirius XM Radio host Steve Covino, all sitting front row at iiJin’s highly anticipated show.

“America’s Got Talent” star Snap Boogie opened the show with a high-energy break dancing routine down the runway, which included jaw-dropping front and back flips, headstands and fierce popping and locking moves. The crowd went wild and cheered for Snap Boogie during his entire performance. MTV personality Layla Kayleigh-Covino was the first model to hit the runway in a fun and flirty multi-print iiJin corset dress with iiJin’s white super high tops. “Step Up 3D” star Sharni Vinson’s first look was a multi-print top with cut out sleeves, pink fitted jeans and white “Indie Baby” high tops. Sharni’s megawatt smile lit up the runway. “America’s Got Talent” star and recording artist Harmony Swank rocked the runway in a super sexy black mini-skirt with a crescent moon front cutout design, a beautiful white and black sleeveless blouse with a red leather collar and black mat croco boots. Former Miss USA, TV personality and author Susie Castillo wowed in sexy red pants with a black and white cutout top and black mat croco high tops. Former Navy SEAL turned actor Geoff Reeves and actor/model Brian Larrabee, rocked enviable washboard abs while debuting iiJin’s brand new men’s collection of fashion forward footwear.

“California Soul” collection fashion show featured 44 fabulous, colorful and stylish looks. Guests were dancing in their seats throughout the show to the high-energy mega-mix provided by celebrity DJ HEM. The show ended with Brian Larrabee checking his Star-Map and then spotting his favorite stars Susie and Sharni at the top of the runway, where he was the luckiest guy in the room to receive a kiss on each cheek from these two talented and beautiful women who walked arm in arm with while taking their last walk down the runway.

Comfy and cozy pieces in luxury fabrics are key components in iiJin’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection, which can help anyone achieve the Bohemian chic style of a California girl.
