Fire In My Belly celebrates good ingredients with more than 120 hip, accessible recipes presented in a cutting-edge design. This book taps into our national obsession with knowing where our food comes from. Kevin’s witty Southern charm really comes through the pages of this book. The title should be,” This ain’t your ordinary cookbook”. The beautifully illustrated book contains a few dirty words, lot’s of great recipes and funny stories throughout. You’ll  find  one-of-a-kind chapters, like “Foods You Thought You Hated,” “When I Want to Eat Healthy,” “My Version of Southern Food,” “World Classics Revisited” and “Junk Food.”

I love how the book really shows cooks what to do with fresh farmer’s market foods while providing a backstage pass to the life of a rising culinary star. It is a must-read. After reading only a few paragraphs of Fire in my Belly, I haven’t put this book down in a week.

Don’t miss out on your chance to not only meet Kevin on his national tour, but to learn some mad cooking skills.   Chef Kevin’s book tour will continue until late November, however tonights dinner in Austin has already sold out. There is a waiting list if you are still interested in attending.

For more information please visit Kevin’s Event Page for a full list of exciting book tour events

Fire in my Belly can be purchased at Amazon for $27
