After 10 years in the entertainment industry, living in Los Angeles and working in corporate environments, Emily decided it was time to make a change and enjoy life. She made a commitment to pursue her creative outlet full time. As the daughter of an artist/interior designer and an architect, Emily learned to appreciate color and the satisfaction of physically building something. As a teenager, Emily would join her mother in jewelry making and bead creations. It was at age 21 when her mother handed her an old dismantled heirloom and said “why don’t you see what you can do with it,” that Emily’s desire to design fine jewelry sparked. For the past 12 years she has continued to develop her designs as well as her techniques in making innovative pieces of jewelry that she and her clients can enjoy forever.

Along with Emily’s desire to create jewels, she also wanted to use her talent to help those in need. Nowadays, she makes her attempt to contribute a reality by partnering with Create Now. Create Now serves vulnerable kids ages 2-25 who have been abused, neglected, abandoned, orphaned, are left homeless, runaways, teen parents, substance abusers, victims of domestic violence, or children of prisoners, gang members or incarcerated. They’ve developed an extensive database of over 1,000 youth facilities throughout Southern California that enables them to match volunteers with high-risk or at-risk kids in their own neighborhood, based on the youths’ ages, genders, challenges and other preferences. They train their mentors, help them to customize their curriculum and give materials for their workshops so they become productive, well emerged citizens.

Blessed Charm’s designer, Emily Rabinowitz, will be now partnering with Create Now to transform the lives of high-risk and at-risk youth through creative arts mentoring, education, resources and opportunities. Create Now specifically seeks to create self-esteem and confidence through creative arts. This idea coincides with Emily’s belief that jewelry can universally represent sentimental connections that hopefully anyone is able to feel regardless of personal experience or religion.

“Every child should feel safe to express themselves through art,” Emily said about her collaboration with the organization. “Talk is not the obvious choice of communication for many children. Blessed Charm wants to help spread that opportunity to any child who needs that outlet.”

Executive Director and Founder of Create Now Jill Gurr talked about the organization’s junction and the collaboration with Blessed Charm. A percentage of all Blessed Charm sales will be going to the organization and, as a bonus, Emily Rabinowitz will be also mentoring a couple of the children in jewelry making.

The night’s showcase collection was a success for both organizations as they catered a great venture while enjoying the amenities of a chic, classy, comfortable, warm and inviting boutique hotel such as The Mosaic Beverly Hills Hotel. Guest enjoyed drinks and small bites while Blessed Charm introduced to the collection by Emily Rabinowitz herself. Attendees also received a unique and one-of-kind Blessed Charm Jewelry piece to take home as a token of appreciation for their support to both organizations.

Blessed Charms pieces make the perfect gift for anyone aged 16 and up. The pieces are unique in the sense that they are all made here in the United States and have a personalization aspect to them, each of these pieces can be personalized with stones, engravings, dates etc. to remember that special moment that you want to hold dear to your heart. Emily’s collections are classic pieces that can be worn universally at any time of the year. A great addition is that each piece ordered is customized to that person’s need, for example lengths of the necklaces can be adjusted right on the website during checkout.
