This event is bringing together charity, art and awareness for Breast Cancer in the Philadelphia region. This exhibition will showcase women who have battled breast cancer and are beautiful pieces of art because of their fight with such a disease. It will showcase this through various forms of art. The exhibition will showcase the struggles, transitions, grace and strength that millions of women exemplify while battling breast cancer. Art Nude will also pay tribute to those who have lost their battle with Breast Cancer. All proceeds will benefit the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation.
The Linda Creed Foundation was founded in 1987 by close ones of Linda Creed Epstein, a Philadelphia native and song-writer who lost her battle with breast cancer at the age of 37. This foundation was one of the first local organization to address breast cancer as a serious disease that affected and threatened the lives of women in Delaware Valley.
