The Glam Doll Strut, scheduled for Saturday, October 13, is designed to mobilize the business community to raise awareness and funds for local breast cancer programs and initiatives. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Broward Health Foundation.

Rumor has it that City of Fort Lauderdale Mayor John P. “Jack” Seiler will don a pair of one-of-a-kind Glam-A-THON high-top Converse sneakers to launch the Strut like a true Fort Lauderdale rock star.

“It’s an honor to be part of this dynamic event to raise awareness about breast cancer, assist patients and loved ones affected by the disease, and support efforts to find a cure,” said Mayor Seiler. “We applaud Glam-A-THON for their leadership and commitment to making a difference in our community, and we encourage local businesses and organizations to lend their support to this important and tremendously worthwhile cause.”

And in case all that strutting gets you hungry, Ciao Bella Gelato will be on-site sampling their award-winning gelato, sorbet and frozen yogurt (available at Publix).
