The 5th Annual Autumn Moonlight benefiting the University of Miami-Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities will take place on November 9, 2012.

This year’s event will honor two of organization’s most devoted supporters – Dr. Glenn Parker, co-founder of NationsHealth, and Carmen Zaldivar, a former CARD Constituency board member and CARD legislative chair – for all of the hard work, commitment and support they have contributed to the organization and to the autism community in South Florida.
Last year’s honorees, Miami Dolphins General Manager Jeff Ireland and his wife Rachel, will serve as the event’s Honorary Chairs.
Autumn Moonlight, an annual festive fundraising celebration, is designed to raise awareness of autism and support the programs, services and research initiatives of Miami-Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities. The goal of Autumn Moonlight is to bring in additional funding to continue to provide the critical services to all the families of children with autism who need them, without interruption.
The event will feature music, dancing, cocktails, delectable hors d’oeuvres from The Capital Grill and cocktails from Bacardi. Guests will dance the night away to the smooth sounds of DJ 1Tre (Michael Marino). Local 10’s Sports Director Will Manso will serve as emcee for the evening.
