Icenhauer’s Introduces Fall Drinks To Benefit Breast Cancer Resource Centers Of Texas

Icenhauer’s has introduced several new drinks for the fall season. First (and my personal favorite because of the memories of my favorite Halloween candy) is the candy corn infused vodka. It can be taken as a shot or mixed with club soda over ice for a sweet cocktail treat.

A little bit stronger, and definitely something the guys will enjoy, is the pecan infused bourbon. After trying the new cocktails, I went back to one of my personal favorites, The Sarah. It’s just Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka and Blue Moon White Ale, but the perfect drink while enjoying the spacious backyard this time of year.

For National Breast Cancer Awareness month, Icenhauer’s is introducing their annual ‘pink drink.’ This year’s is The Hope. The cocktail is made with hatch chile-infused Espolon Silver, Prickly Pear Puree, lime juice and agave Nectar.

I think one of my personal favorite parts of the cocktail was the salt- it’s from Specs and mixed with coarse kosher salt to perfect the pink color. Most importantly, $1 from each drink sold will be donated to the Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas.

Icenhauer’s bar manager Julie Campbell is the brains behind the new cocktails and responsible for coming up with the seasonal delights for guests. A great time to visit is the first Sunday of the month for the Southern Fried Sunday. This past Sunday, Bacon restaurant served up complimentary chicken and waffles and The Good Nights performed. Drink specials include house made sangria and bloody Marys!
