The Paradise Fund will be inaugurating its newest chapter in New York City on October 9, 2012 at the Soho Grand Hotel. The charity was founded 10 years ago in Palm Beach by Christopher DiSchino, Kent Anderson and Loy Anderson III. It is a grass-roots movement which is being carried throughout the nation by young professionals and students. The Paradise Fund also launched a chapter in Miami and will be launching one in Los Angeles later this year. It has been almost 10 years since it had its first annual event in Palm Beach, Fla. The Paradise Casino and Paradise Ball are two highly anticipated events of the year in Palm Beach.
The proceeds of the launch event along will go to the Children’s Relief Fund which provides children in need with books, homes, medicine, schools and necessary tools in the wake of a natural disaster. It has been designed to be readily available to assist when sudden catastrophes hit and for children living on the streets in our local communities. By hosting the annual fundraisers, it is able to partner with non-profit sister organizations around the world to provide support to areas in need.
Guests will enjoy hor d’oeurves from The Chef and signature cocktails from Medea Spirits.
