Lesley Haenny is an Air Force wife now living in the Seattle area. Prior to living in Seattle, Lesley spent 7 years in Washington, DC, working as a Congressional liaison. She grew up in a small, mountain town in Southern California, sandwiched between an older sister and a younger brother. Her two hard working parents taught her to always go for the clearance rack, bring your lunch everyday, work hard for what you have, and always take the opportunity to travel and play outside. Lesley has been actively involved in various charities such as the Animal Resource Foundation, Komen For the Cure, Prevent Cancer Foundation, American Diabetes Association and the Race for Hope (benefitting the National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure).

Total Wine And More Opens At Southcenter With Donation To Community Schools Collaboration

On Thursday, October 4, 2012, Total Wine & More will hold its grand opening celebration and its new location in Tukwila.

Starting at 6 p.m., Total Wine & More Co-owner David Trone along with Tukwila Mayor Jim Haggerton will hold an official ribbon-cutting ceremony welcoming America’s largest independent retailer of fine wine, spirits and beer to the community. Also included during the event will be wine and beer tastings with the Wagner Family of Wines, Betz Family Vineyards, Canoe Ridge Winery and Charles Smith Wines, beer tastings with Pike Brewing Company and Elysian Brewing Company, and custom engravings on bottle medallions from Patron Tequila.

Total Wine & More will also be presenting a $10,000 check to SeaTac-based Community Schools Collaboration, in support of the local non-profit’s efforts to provide children and youth with opportunities to succeed in school, develop high aspirations and create a better world.

Everyone that attends the celebration will receive a complimentary Total Wine & More re-usable wine tote, corkscrew and additional giveaways. One lucky attendee will win a “Walla Walla Wine Country Weekend” giveaway for two people. This all-inclusive getaway package includes two nights at Cameo Heights Mansion, one of the top 10 bed and breakfasts in the country, a private wine country limo tour with stops at some of the best wineries in the region, including Waterbrook Winery and Tasting Room, transportation costs to and from Walla Walla and meals. Attendees must complete an on-site entry form and be present to win. The winner of the giveaway will be announced at 6:30 p.m.
