Refine Mixers, the maker of the zero calorie cocktail mix, is hosting the next First Friday of Fall on October 5. Guests are invited to the REFINE House in Venice and will be treated to complimentary Refine specialty cocktails while enjoying a LAB ART pop-up with art from special guests Kelcey Fisher, Randall Bass, and Alec Monopoly.
LAB ART is the largest art gallery dedicated to street art in the country. The REFINE House will be transformed into a
LAB ART gallery featuring new as well as established artists. Three of the artists included in this gallery are Kelcey Fisher, Randall Bass, and Alec Monopoly. Kelcey Fisher, or KFish, is an up and coming artist whose art is a merging of studio and street art. He uses vibrant colors as a backdrop in his paintings. Randall Bass focuses on depth and light to create a multi dimensional look to his artwork. In his own words he uses “texture and light, physically repositioning two-dimensional reality to construe perspectives otherwise undiscovered.” His work has been showcased around the nation, as well as internationally. Alec Monopoly‘s work centers on society and selfhood and he often speaks through the Monopoly man which is shown in many of his artwork. Although he works anonymously, his work has been featured on popular sites like The Huffington Post. If you are in the LA area, be sure to check out this event!
