Lorrie Dixson went to boarding school at Salem Academy with Miss A. After graduating from the University of Alabama with a B.A. in Communications, she moved to Atlanta and worked for CNN for 15 years. She is currently an entrepreneur who owns Eskimo Advertising, a full service boutique advertising and public relations agency. Her company combines targeted public relations and advertising with grassroots marketing, promotions and social marketing in order for her clients to receive great exposure in a cost effective manner.

Community Impact Day In Atlanta

For those in need, New Life Tabernacle Church of God in Christ will host its 4th Annual Community Impact Day on Saturday, September 29th from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.  Participants will enjoy live entertainment, food, vendors, games, prizes, and free school supply bags will be distributed. Children must be accompanied by an adult in order to receive the school supplies. Seminars will be presented by Morehouse School of Medicine, Fulton County Health and Wellness Department, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and Atlanta Victim Assistance. Complimentary health screenings provided by the Fulton County Health and Wellness Department (blood pressure) and Morehouse School of Medicine (BMI). Community Impact Day is a family event and the admission is free.
