So, how does it work? Simply call a Closet Consultant to book a closet clean-out. The Consultant will go to your home and sort through potential items you are interested in consigning. You will then be set up in the system in real time and be walked through the details of the consignment contract. Within 24-48 hours after the appointment, your items are authenticated, professionally photographed, and available for purchase online. To make the deal more enticing, DC area consignors will enjoy a 60/40 split, whereby consignors receive 60% of the final sale price of their items. Industry standard is 50/50.
