Wright’s Manhattan Beach To Host Melissa Joy Manning Jewelry Trunk Show

San Francisco native and renowned jewelry designer Melissa Joy Manning will host a trunk show this Saturday, September 29 at Wright’s boutique in Manhattan Beach.

Manning, whose work has been featured in such publications as Harper’s Baazar and Nylon Magazine, will unveil a selection of one-of-a-kind pieces including necklaces, cuffs and multiple stone earrings. A variety of signature hoops will also be available for special order. Manning creates for the individual rather than the masses, and acquires her inspiration from our natural surroundings.

She explains, “I am continually surprised by the diversity of color, texture and magic of nature. As an artist, I attempt to capture this fascination in my work.” Saturday’s presentation will offer exclusive pieces constructed from natural druzys, colored stones, agates, fossils, 14 karat gold and sterling silver.

She creates a connection between her pieces and the people of Los Angeles, stating that Angelenos have an undeniable appreciation for the environment and natural health and so they are drawn to her work. Premiered at Fashion’s Night Out, a new line of men’s cuff links will also be on hand at this weekend’s trunk show. Melissa’s recent initiation into the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America)counts as yet another accomplishment for this remarkable designer.
