Oprah Winfrey is one of the most inspiring individuals I know. If you ever watched “The Oprah Winfrey Show” that ran nationally for 25 seasons from 1986 to 2011 or programs on her OWN network or read the “O” magazine, you will know what I mean. Her content is real and meaningful and leaves you feeling thankful and blessed as well as hopeful. She is one person I would love to meet in real life. Now is your chance, if you live in LA!

The October cover of O, The Oprah Magazine is the Best Advice Ever issue and, Angelenos, get excited because O, The Oprah Magazine brings its “Live Your Best Life” mission to Los Angeles on Saturday, October 20 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. with O You!, an interactive day of seminars and workshops with Oprah’s hand-picked experts that brings the pages of the magazine to life in an energizing, enlightening and inspiring event.
Editor-at-large Gayle King will welcome 5,500+ attendees at the Los Angeles Convention Center who will participate in seminars with a distinguished group of O’s trusted experts. For the first time, mental health professional, daytime talk-show host and best-selling author Dr. Phil McGraw joins the O You! line-up with O, The Oprah Magazine contributors including financial expert and Emmy Award-winning television host Suze Orman, best-selling author and life coach Martha Beck; organizational management expert Peter Walsh; sex and relationship educator and therapist Dr. Laura Berman and O’s creative director Adam Glassman and beauty director Val Monroe. Jenny Craig spokesperson Valerie Bertinelli will be making an appearance, as will Robin McGraw, for Poise.
Guests will be able to select from two of the following sessions to attend: Get Organized! with Peter Walsh, Love, Sex & Relationships with Dr. Laura Berman, or Creating Your Right Life with Martha Beck.
Between sessions, attendees can interact with numerous experiences, like interactive games, comedy sessions, photographs at the tech bar and lounge, snacks and breakfast treats put out by Jenny Craig’s Valerie Bertinelli, contests, free manicures and products from Sally Hansen, book signings with the Oprah magazine experts, games to win products featured on the O List, hair styling and products from Paul Mitchell and oh so much more!
Oprah herself will wrap up the day with a personal and highly inspirational talk about her own journey and next chapter.
