As we head into the new fall season, New York City is bursting with events to celebrate October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and one of the most defining events on the horizon is the eighth annual Get Pink’d hosted by the Continuum Cancer Centers of New York.

To be hosted at the XL Nightclub, Get Pink’d promises to be an fantastic night full of exciting events like a silent auction, cocktails, hors d’oevres, great music and a lot of dancing. All proceeds of the event will go to benefiting the Appel-Venet Comprehensive Breast Center of Beth Israel Medical Center, one of New York City’s
largest breast cancer centers, and will be used to help finance clinical trials for cancer research and support those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and are having trouble paying for treatment.
In 2011, there were over 2.6 million breast cancer survivors. By going out for an enjoyable night and showing your support, you can make a difference and increase this number even more. So get ready for October, and get ready to Get Pink’d.
