Jeannie Thomas is from Hermitage, Tennessee and a graduate student in the Masters of Business Administration program at Tennessee State University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Cumberland University. As a career college Instructor, she developed an aspiration for creative and professional writing. Jeannie’s future goals are to complete an MBA degree from TSU, continue to teach at the collegiate or secondary school level, and continue to write materials pertaining to business, education, fun, and entertainment for others. Tennessee Association of Craft Artists Fair In Centennial Park

If you have never been to one of the annual craft fairs by the Tennessee Association of Craft Artists (TACA),then you have missed a unique, fun experience.

The organization has over 200 artisans from areas all over the country that are chosen to participate in the fair at Centennial Park each fall.  If you are a designer or just love to decorate your home in beautiful, unique effects, then you will be excited and delighted by the hand-crafted items. You will find blown glass vases, distinctive jewelry and accessories, wood carvings, bright pottery and table settings. The variety of the exclusive items will amaze you!  Don’t forget Christmas is right around the corner.  This fair is a great place to find unusual, gorgeous gifts, specially for that person for whom it is difficult to shop.

If you are thinking that the kids will be bored, not a problem.  There is a Kids Park that features hands-on learning and crafts, games, rides and a great variety of food and drinks. Also, the large pond is nearby to entertain the young ones while feeding fish and ducks. Whether you want stroll by and browse, or you’re looking for that “perfect piece” for a room in your home, the TACA fair is the place to be.  So, plan to come out and enjoy the park and fair for the day.
