On Friday, August 24, local fashion designer Fallene Wells unveiled her highly anticipated fall clothing line during the event Modern Nouveau: Fall Friperie at the Walker Fine Arts Gallery in Denver.

Fallene introduced her new line and described the events leading up to the line’s debut as “hectic but exciting.” Guests mingled in the gallery’s intimate setting and were afforded the opportunity to shop from the Modern Nouveau line, as well as from local accessory designers who had their jewelry and hats on display during the event.

The collection integrated several mix and match pieces which include knicker trousers, a vintage-inspired print top with a Peter Pan collar and a low back print dress in black and white. Now, thanks to Fallene, the Modern Nouveau line has enabled today’s modern woman the opportunity to channel her inner newsboy. Collection pieces can be purchased online.
