Susan G. Komen’s City in Pink will bring a warm, rosy hue to New York City on September 5th as dozens of buildings across the city participate in this annual event which raises breast cancer awareness, honors breast cancer survivors and remembers those who have lost their lives to the disease. In addition, 14 websites including Miss A will be lit up in pink for Virtual City in Pink.

There will be a VIP reception on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at FOUR at Yotel to celebrate City in Pink and to kick off Komen Greater New York City Race for the Cure which takes place on Sunday, September 9, 2012.
Reception attendees will be able to learn about breath health (and win prizes) at the Komen Greater NYC spin wheel, get mini facials from Origins, bid on silent auction items and receive a special gift from Ford. Reception drinks will be courtesy of Figenza and Scoops; music will be provided by DJ Uri Dalal.
The evening will also pay tribute to Komen Greater NYC’s Pink Honor Roll — the top 125 fundraisers and top five team captains from the 2011 Race.
