Take a trip to one of the best home decor stores in Atlanta. Boxwoods Gardens and Gifts on East Andrews Drive in Buckhead is a treasure. The business is located on a quiet road in Buckhead between West Paces Ferry and Roswell Road, and they occupy two old houses. The ambiance is so inviting you feel like you are visiting someone’s fabulous home!

The basic philosophy of Boxwoods has always been to try and make their customer’s world more beautiful at an affordable price point. Owner Dan Belman creates an eclectic mix of merchandise that includes unique vintage and antique pieces hand-selected from Europe and throughout the U.S., current and modern home accessories, affordable furniture and lighting, fine gift ware, stylish jewelry and handbags and an award winning plant department. You will find a variety of planters, fountains, outdoor plants, bird baths and benches to choose from. And their greenhouse plants and flowers are absolutely stunning.

They have been named one of the top 50 retailers in the United States, and in past years have been voted Atlanta’s Best Home Accessory Shop, Best Holiday Décor Shop and Best Garden Gift Shop. You will find antique furniture and accessories mixed in with new finds. And the creative way that each room is displayed will leave you intrigued and motivated to decorate! There are vintage, wicker-covered wine bottles from France, fabulous coffee table books, creative lighting, one of a kind baby gifts, unique picture frames and so much more. There are even pieces of jewelry made from vintage Chanel buttons! Furthermore, the staff at Boxwoods is top notch. Throughout both locations there are sales people that are friendly and happy to assist you.

Boxwoods’ owner also feels it’s important to give back to the community. Dan explains that they have always been very strong supporters of the Atlanta community, specifically those organizations that benefit children, animals, health-related causes and the arts. Additionally, nearly every year since they opened in 1995, they have set-up and run a unique “pop-up” satellite shop at the Atlanta Symphony Decorators’ Show House through which they have raised and donated over $100,000.00 to benefit the Atlanta Symphony Associates.
