Highly anticipated, the District Sample Sale, DMV’s largest and finest high-end bargain shopping event, is returning for their twelfth event on Tuesday, September 11. With proceeds to benefit Washington-based children’s charity Sitar Arts Center, the District Sample Sale is DC’s most fashionable charity event that you won’t want to miss.
This shopping extravaganza will host over 20 of the area’s top designer clothing, accessory and shoe boutiques, selling their end-of-season merchandise at discounts up to 90%, and many previewing upcoming season wares at DSS-exclusive prices. Stores include: D.C.’s Urban Chic, Ginger, Julia Farr, Wink, Sassanova, Sherman Pickey and Caramel, and Baltimore’s Babe, Cupcake, Form Boutique and Poppy and Stella. For a complete list of participating boutiques, visit District Sample Sale.
The bi-annual shopping soiree will also feature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from local restaurants, a fashion-focused silent auction and raffle, a blowout and styling bar from PR at Partners, a lipstick and beauty bar from Nectar Skin Bar and much more.
Since its founding in 2006, the District Sample sale has donated more than $250,000 to its chosen charities. This fall, the District Sample Sale will benefit Sitar Arts Center, which provides multidisciplinary arts education and after-school programs to the DC area’s youth. They help foster personal and artistic growth through the visual arts, music, drama, dance, digital arts, creative writing and early childhood arts education.
Join women from all over the East Coast in helping support this wonderful cause as well as enjoy a night of discount shopping from the best local designer boutiques. This event only happens twice a year, so don’t miss out on this great opportunity to stock up your closet for this season’s must-have fashion trends.
