Crosby Noricks, founder of PR Couture has an entrepreneurial spirit and has cultivated her passion of public relations to helping others entering the PR industry.
Crosby began her journey of fashion PR while managing an in-house marketing and PR department for an online jewelry retailer. She had just finished grad school and wrote her thesis on fashion PR. Crosby’s thesis would be the inspiration for what would develop into PR Couture.
PR Couture started a new venture of fashion PR forum due to the lack of information available online. Her style was a brand new approach for fashion PR, utilizing social media to gain pull. Crosby has since received accolades including being invited to New York fashion week to blog for Microsoft. She has also been presented with a Blogger of the Year award.
Crosby, along with a few family members, including her sister who is currently teaching students in Cabarete, Dominican Republic, is involved with non-profit organization The Dream Project. Crosby visited the beach town of Cabarete and was impacted by both the poverty and potential of the town. Proceeds from consulting and personal session fees go to The Dream Project.
In addition to PR Couture, Crosby is the director of social media for Red Door Interactive, a business consulting service that has worked with reputable corporations. The fuel for the growing awareness of fashion PR has increased the visibility through social media and reality TV.
While running PR Couture and social media for Red Door Interactive, Crosby wrote and self published “Ready to Launch The PR Couture Guide to Breaking Into PR Couture“. It is available now on Amazon, Kindle and CreateSpace.
