Take a relaxing vacation this summer without even stepping foot on a plane. Ditch the stresses of daily routines at Yuan Spa in Bellevue. One of the spa’s current promotions is the Colour Code Your Summer package, which includes a Classic Manicure, a Classic Pedicure and a Hydrotherapy Session.

“As a working mom, I know how important it is to take time for myself and enjoy a few hours of peacefulness, so I can feel rejuvenated,” said Yuan Spa Owner Z Zhang. “This ensures that I have the energy each and every day and to feel my best. Not just on the outside, but inside as well.”
Separately, a hydrotherapy session costs $39, a Classic Manicure costs $39 and a Classic Pedicure costs $59. This month’s Colour Code Your Summer package combines all three (valued at $137) for only $75 through Aug. 31. The package can be used between Monday and Friday. Note: hydrotherapy sessions are for women only on Thursdays.
Although Seattle weather can be unpredictable, often with gray clouds this summer, this one doesn’t have to be with a pop of gorgeous nail polish colors to choose from. The Classic Manicure cleans and reshapes nails and refines cuticles, while a warm herbal bath soaks feet to prepare them for a scrub exfoliation. The toenails follow the same treatment as the manicure as they are clipped and shaped and cuticles are also refined. Finally, the nails get either a polish application or a natural buff.
The hydrotherapy session includes benefits like muscle stimulation, absorption of element, detoxification and skin conditioning. The spa provides complimentary bath products and body-polishing sea salts. For clients who are new to the bathing pools, Yuan Spa suggests 10 to 15 minutes per session, washing and rinsing before entering the pools and following with the sauna and steam room with the cool sea salt pool or cool shower to stimulate the circulatory system.

The hydrotherapy circuit includes the Cedar Sauna Room, Eucalyptus Steam Room, Salt Scrub Bar, Hot Bathing Pool and Cool Sea Salt Bathing Pool, Heated Loungers and Relaxation Room. Private Soaking Tubs are available. The hot pool is maintained at 104 degrees Fahrenheit, so short resting periods are recommended before entering.
