Last Tuesday, July 24, Boston’s best dressed attended the Christina K. Pierce Fashion Agency sample sale at Alex + Ani on Newburty street. A portion of proceeds from the sale went to Rosie’s Place. Rosie’s Place, a sanctuary for poor and homeless women, offers emergency and long-term assistance to women who have nowhere else to turn. Founded in 1974, Rosie’s Place welcomes each guest with respect and unconditional love. Rosie’s Place accepts no government funds and relies instead on committed volunteers and private supporters to accomplish its effective and innovative work.

The Fashion Agency works with both local and national designers and uses their pieces to style celebrities and models on photo shoots. When a season comes to an end, Christina makes room for the new lines by selling the samples and giving back to charity.
Ryan and Wood served signature cocktails while women poured over all the amazing brands that were represented - most at 80%off. Who could refuse that price? Certainly not me, as I bought two dresses and cannot wait to wear them.
Designers included in the sale were RUCH, Launch by Susan Young, Samuel Vartan, Lily & Migs and more.
