Fabulously Easy Grilled Salmon Recipe

I will be the first to admit that I am NOT a fabulous cook. That is what makes this recipe for grilled salmon so amazing- even I wasn’t able to mess it up!

First, create a basic, simple marinade of 1/4 cup each of the following:

  • soy sauce
  • olive oil
  • dark brown sugar

Once this is whisked together, you have your basic marinade. Herbs and seasonings may be added to this mixture as desired. I added lemon pepper, basil, and parsley, but if you like garlic, red pepper flakes, or thyme, any of those would also be fabulous. Be creative!

Just marinate 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz. each) in the marinade for at least 1 hour.

Grill for about 5 minutes on each side (until flaky).

This salmon goes well with jasmine rice and stir-fried vegetables and, of course, a glass of  Pinot Noir.
