Experience A Dolphin Sleepover At The National Aquarium In Baltimore

Does you child love dolphins? Then treat them to a special, behind-the-scenes sleepover at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Dolphin Sleepovers are perfect for birthdays, special occasions, or just as a family event your child will remember forever.

The Dolphin Sleepover immersion tour gives your family special seats in the Dolphin Amphitheater to see the aquarium’s dolphins in action, a behind-the-scenes tour of the aquarium (be sure to wear non-slip shoes as surfaces may be wet) and access to a 4D Immersion Film. But for your aquatic-loving little ones, the highlight of the night just might be the end–falling asleep in an underwater viewing area while the aquarium’s animals swim around them. Then, after breakfast, they get to attend an enrichment session with the dolphins and their trainers. The fun doesn’t have to end there! After you stow your sleepover stuff, the aquarium will allow you to re-enter and spend the rest of the day exploring the aquarium with your family.

The Dolphin Sleepover is for children 8-years and older. All children must be accompanied by an adult or their parent/guardian will need to sign a waiver. The sleepover includes dinner and breakfast, but participants are responsible for bringing their own sleeping bags, appropriate pajamas and any other items or medications necessary for an over-night stay.

These special sleepovers are only available on select weekends so check out the National Aquarium’s website for a list of available dates. Also be sure to check out the aquarium’s other immersion tours for more fun family activities.
