The typical perception of Friday the 13th is one of horror and accursedness, but not everyone agrees with this superstition.

In fact, on Friday July 13, Pinkberry, a phenomenal frozen yogurt and smoothie store decided to contradict daunting notions by celebrating its new management and showing their appreciation for their loyal customers by hosting a series of events at their 6th Avenue location.
The events included a raffle and a wheel of fortune which gave customers opportunities to win free and discounted frozen yogurts, smoothies and other delicious Pinkberry products. The day also consisted of face painting that was available to people of all ages, free samples and, above all, the opportunity to celebrate good food while allowing it to cool you down amid the summer heat.
According to an employee of Pinkberry, there will be several similar events taking place at Pinkberrys all around the city, so keep a lookout for another special day like this one!
