TRIO at the Four Seasons has an amazing offer this summer–3 courses for only $36. The luxurious restaurant is offering some of their most popular dishes for the special Restaurant Week-esque savings that will be running through August 31.
The current menu includes tomato gazpacho, gulf ceviche or grilled quail as appetizer options, prime flat iron steak, grouper or Richardson Farm pork chop for entrees and Fredericksburg peach crumble or PB&J Smores for dessert.

I went to celebrate a friend’s birthday and I’m pretty positive this is the best meal I have had since moving to Austin a year ago! I started with the quail which was incredibly tasty, so tender and the perfect flavor. I admit I was a little disappointed at first that there wasn’t a salad on the special menu, but now I see why. The rest of the food was so outstanding it had to be showcased. I tried the ceviche as well and, even though I’m not the biggest fish fan, it was really, really good.
Then, I had the steak for my dinner and I haven’t had steak in about nine months. It was a superb taste back into the steak world. It was so perfect on it’s own, and I’m usually a big condiment fan, but I thought it tasted better solo then with the six (!) different sauces they brought to accompany it.
The sides for the 3 for $36 include potato puree that was so delicious and really nice roasted asparagus. We also had an order of truffle mac n’ cheese off the regular menu. It was the kind of truffle mac that makes me want to go back to the Four Seasons to get it solo with a glass of wine every single time I have a bad day. I finished my meal with the PB&J Smores and it was the perfect dessert, really fun but not too terribly sweet, so you didn’t feel guilty eating it after all the earlier courses.

In order for guests to be able to try even more menu options during the promotion, TRIO will be changing menus at the end of July, and offering a completely new menu for August. August’s options include corn soup, melon salad or seared scallop and flat iron steak, Dewberry Farm chicken and snapper for entrees. It’s a great reason and deal to visit the picturesque restaurant a few times this summer to get in the wallet-saving deals on superb food!
The perfect complement to great food is helping others and Trio is now giving back as well. Mention ‘I Live Here, I Give Here’ when you dine, and the restaurant will donate 10% of your dinner bill to a local non-profit.
